Yummy, no-churn ice cream that's easy to make and comes together in minutes.
Traditionally ice cream involved churning, which can be a hassle, and modern-day ice cream machines can be pricey. That's why this ice cream recipe stood out to me, because it doesn't require much, nor is it expensive to make.
The main ingredients that are generally in ice cream are water, ice, milk fat, milk protein, sugar, and air, but this simple yet heavenly ice cream recipe only involves 3 ingredients and is quick to make. This ridiculously easy ice cream is something that everyone around you will for sure enjoy.
Here's what you will need:
1 can Sweetened condensed milk- Many people asked on my video where's the sugar in this recipe, well sweetened condensed milk is sweetened, so there's no need to add additional sugar.
2 cups Heavy whipping cream- The next ingredient is heavy whipping cream, traditionally used to make whip cream. This gives us that soft, fluffy whipped texture.
1 tsp Vanilla extract- The last ingredient is vanilla, you can use vanilla beans, vanilla extract, or even vanilla bean paste, the fun thing about this recipe is that it's so versatile, and you can really use any extract, and/or fruit to flavor it.
Bonus Tips for No-Churn Ice Cream
The most common question I got was how to make this chocolate flavored. If that is something you are interested in, I recommend you check out my chocolate ganache blog post.
Adding a 1:1 ratio chocolate ganache to this ice cream is mind-blowing, but you could also add a few tablespoons of a nice quality cocoa powder.
Adding Nutella, biscoff spread, or even white chocolate ganache would also be an easy way to make addictive flavors at home.
Lastly, you can add 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of salt, if you find this too sweet. I personally think it's fantastic without it, especially if you are doing fruit flavors such as strawberry in my popular TikTok video.
However, if you add your favorite cookies, candy, chocolate, etc you may find the salt a great balancing ingredient. It will also help enhance the flavor.
This is the best recipe to get creative with, go and get crazy with it. Leave me a comment and let me know what flavors you came up with!
