Welcome to my food blog! My name is Maliah and I am the food obsessed home maker behind Petite Cakery. I have done an array of things such as modeling, acting, makeup, and I even tried my hand at writing and producing my own music. During this time of exploration, one thing was clear. I love to CREATE.

Confectionary has always been an interest of mine. I binged hours of cooking shows, baking competitions, and Youtube videos. This interest really stems from having a mom that was known for desserts and creative treats. I spent a lot of time helping her in the kitchen, and I admired her skills and dedication to creating memorable experiences with food for our family and friends.

During the height of the pandemic, I finally worked up the courage to put all of those baking skills and knowledge to the test. I started my cottage bakery business, Petite Cakery.

In the back of my mind, I always wanted to start a food blog. Creating content showcasing all of my creations and things that I have learned along the way was the goal. So, two years later, after 2 weeks on TikTok, I had my first viral video. I took that as a sign to go full force into creating fun, tasty, educational content for you all, and Petite Cakery Blog was officially born!
