These easy bars require minimal effort and taste like the iconic Reese's peanut butter cups, but with a lot more fun texture.
Just a few ingredients and you will have a childhood classic of many to enjoy. These are perfectly balanced. Not too sweet and not too salty. You can choose crunchy peanut butter or a less fine graham cracker crumb to give an added texture that takes these to the next level. Many left me comments saying that they ate these in elementary school, and I can only wish that I had been so lucky to have experienced that. These are now a staple in my house, and I will be taking them to the next family gathering when I am in a pinch.
Unsalted Butter - I always use unsalted butter to control the amount of salt in a recipe. But, if you only have salted on hand, feel free to use it, but do not forget to omit the salt from the recipe.
Graham Crackers - Do not be afraid to use store-brand graham crackers. Also, you can crush them into fine dust for a smoother texture or leave some chunks for added texture.
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips - I love semi-sweet for everything just about. However, if you want to make this a bit healthier, dark chocolate tastes just as good. You could also decrease the sugar or use a sugar alternative.
Now, you are all set to make this fantastic no-bake treat. I hope you enjoy!
